This GCG-accredited webinar addresses the compliance requirement of all newly appointed directors and CEOs of Government Owned or Controlled Corporations (GOCCs) who are mandated to attend a corporate governance training within 3 months from one’s date of appointment based on Section 2, Article 5F of Memorandum Circular 2012-05.

Beginning 2026, all GOCCs, GFIs, GICPs, GCEs, and their subsidiaries are required under Governance Commission for GOCCs (GCG) Memorandum Circular No. 2025-01 and the Advisory dated 01 July 2025 to attend WHIP capacity-building training and fully implement the Whistleblowing and Integrity Program (WHIP). This mandate includes adopting WHIP policies, establishing whistleblowing channels, creating reporting and monitoring systems, and instituting organization-wide integrity safeguards, with clear regulatory expectations for full compliance starting 2026.
