The implementing rules and regulations of the Revised Corporation Code of the Philippines that took effect on February 23, 2019 are released by the Securities and Exchange Commission through memorandum circulars (MCs).

This two-session executive briefing via Zoom will comprehensively discuss all the 2024 SEC Memorandum Circulars, provide interpretation and guidance on regulations that are still relevant or have become irrelevant, and recent jurisprudence affecting all corporations in the Philippines.

It is your business to know the significant changes in the rules to help you in your compliance, in structuring your deals, and to avoid the legal pitfalls when making decisions in board and management meetings or when doing business and investing in the Philippines.

She served as Director of the Corporate Governance and Finance Department of the Securities and Exchange Commission until her retirement in 2017. Her responsibilities included the supervision of companies that are covered by various Codes of Corporate Governance.

This will cover Memorandum Circulars (MC) issued by SEC in 2024. MCs are equivalent to the IRR of the Revised Corporation Code. 



Those from government are exempted from the P2,000.00 per day limit set by COA for attending training provided by the private sector based on Department of Budget and Management Circular No. 563 dated April 22, 2016.

Attending this training is not covered by Philippine Procurement Law or RA 9184 based on its Revised IRR’s Section 4.5-b. which classifies training continuing education, conferences and similar activities as "non-procurement activities that shall be governed by applicable COA, CSC, and DBM rules".
