Course Description

All it takes is just one discrepancy in export letters of credit (LCs) and bills of lading (BLs) to result in non-payment. With the newly-released 2023 standards, what was previously deemed a discrepancy may now be considered invalid.

Avoid costly mistakes by understanding the Uniform Customs Practice or UCP 600 and the new International Standard Banking Practices or ISBP 821. The ICC Banking Commission released the latest ISBP on July 1, 2023 to supplement and clarify the UCP 600 further, detailing key principles of document preparation and rules for the examination of documents.

In this one-day training, our Singapore-based expert will emphasize the critical nature of avoiding discrepancies; proper usage of dates and abbreviations; authentication of corrections and alterations; balance between the title and content of documents; various types of invoices and many more!

Join us for a case-based, interactive and highly practical learning event that delves into the core of ICC Documentation
