Ms. Sunshine Cariño


She has been teaching mindfulness for industry leaders, professionals, rank and file in organizations both the public and private sectors. Her mindfulness training is also implemented in the Ateneo Grade School since 2015.

She holds a certification to teach mindfulness from the UCLA Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior. She also trained with the Centre for Mindfulness Studies to facilitate Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy for people with depression and anxiety in 2018.

Currently, she is a mindfulness mentor at the University of California Los Angeles, U.S.A., a support mindfulness teacher in UCLA undergraduate Psychiatry Class, and coaches individuals across different ages struggling with ADHD, stress, depression, and anxiety.

This training is aligned with and in support of the RA 11036 or the National Mental Wellness Act that requires all organizations in the Philippines to have a mental wellness program for all employees.



Attendees from the government are exempted from the P2,000.00 limit set by COA for attending training provided by the private sector based on Department of Budget and Management Circular No. 563 dated April 22, 2016.

Attending this training is not covered by Philippine Procurement Law or RA 9184 based on its Revised IRR’s Section 4.5-b. which classifies training continuing education, conferences and similar activities as "non-procurement activities that shall be governed by applicable COA, CSC, and DBM rules".
