COURSE OUTLINE



Project governance is about leadership, direction, control, and implementation of value, effectiveness, efficiency, and security in project delivery. It applies the accepted principles, organization, compliance, process, documentation, technology and competency to direct the collaborated accomplishment of agreed project results, and the control of the project risks associated to the product, people, policy, procedures, and provider of service delivery.

Project leadership, direction and control communicates to the project organization the valid and verifiable understanding of the following:

1. The acceptable and actionable elements that defines project knowledge, justification authority, agreement, results and enabler.

2. Methodology that determines the "what, how and who" elements behind the delivery of the justified and funded project
    objectives of the stakeholders.

3. Competency building


Training Objectives

The targeted participants of the training represent the governance and management of project. The learning process provides a view of project governance playbook in order to achieve the following:

a. Determine, describe, analyze and document the roles and accountability of governance in a project.

b. Elicit, elaborate, analyze, document and agree on the common standards that enable the development of shared
    project management framework and methodology to fit the project context of the organization.

c. Establish the common questions of understanding to tailor a project management methodology that delivers the governance
    objectives and outcomes for the project.
