Section 2, Article 5F of GCG Memorandum Circular No. 2012-05 mandates all appointive directors and CEOs of Government-Owned or Controlled Corporations (GOCCs) to attend a special seminar on public Corporate Governance within 3 months from one’s date of appointment.

This GCG-accredited webinar is to fulfill your compliance requirement to attend a corporate governance training designed to guide you to be an effective director or CEO of a GOCC.

This two-session foundational course will cover topics including principles of governance, duties and responsibilities of the Board as a collegial body and as individual members, performance management, accountability of public officers, local and foreign best practices, and more!
Course Director & Lecturer: Atty. Rainer P. Dela Fuente is a lawyer and a Certified Public Accountant with an extensive experience in taxation and corporate governance.

In 2012, he joined the Office of the President of the Philippines - Governance Commission for Government-Owned and Controlled Corporations (GCG) where he became involved in the technical evaluation of state-owned enterprises to ascertain whether such entities should be reorganized, merged, streamlined, abolished or privatized.
