Course Outline

This special program focuses on the importance of mental wellness in the workplace. Most companies do not know how to address these issues, and resort to training programs that do not address the issues directly. This workshop is one of the
first ones to talk about these issues outside of the family and personal setting and into the corporate setting. It goes beyond
stress management in the work place.

The lecture workshop will focus on the different psychological issues encountered in the workplace. First is the identification of issues within others and oneself. Various examples will be given of behaviors, communication and work styles that show the
likely occurrence of the issues. We will then list down various possible interventions to mitigate the causes in order to prevent these from happening, and interventions that will reduce occurrence.

In this program, you will:

         1) Learn to identify the different psychological and mental issues that could be present in your employees and even
             within oneself.

         2) Learn how your mental and emotional structures affect your decisions, actions, business results, stress levels,
             relationships, health and spiritual life.

         3) Learn various interventions that can be used to mitigate the effects of these issues such as proper communication,
mental wellness programs, proper leadership, mindfulness practices, counselling, choosing and recruiting the
right people, assigning the right people to leadership positions.

         4) Increase your awareness of mental and emotional triggers that lead to stress, anxiety, anger, and any unproductive
behavior, and learn how to manage these properly.

         5) Learn practical strategies to help respond more skillfully to stressful circumstances, politically charged environments
             and ambiguous situations.

         6) Identify thought and behavior patterns, mental and emotional habits that derail your performance.

         7) Learn how to improve your work and family relationships.

         8) Make yourself a more effective leader and coach.

         9) Learn how to make yourself mentally and emotionally resilient to work stress, difficult work relationships and
             problems we face daily.

         10) Most importantly, learn how to take responsibility for all aspects of your work and life, and feel empowered to
change what needs to be changed, and dedicate every ounce of our time and effort to achieving our intentional
             goals in life.
