The objective of the webinar is to update participants on all the recent labor laws, regulations and rulings that will be very useful in making important decisions with employees. The lecturer will help HR practitioners and business owners avoid the expensive mistakes usually made in the employment setting. The valuable information you will gain from this lecture will greatly help you towards better people administration and employee relations.
The lecture will cover 2023 DOLE regulations and labor-related decisions of the Supreme Court. Knowledge of updated rules and decisions will help companies improve their employee policies and practices to get ahead in terms of labor compliance and minimize as well as take winning positions in labor disputes.
Atty. Ungos has been a labor practitioner for 48 years to various private organizations and law firms.
He is a book author having written the following labor law-related books:The Law on Labor Standards; The Law on Labor Relations; The Fundamentals of Labor Law Review; Pre-Week Handbook on Labor Law; Practical Aspects of Labor Law; Agrarian Law and Social Legislation
He also served as the Vice President for Litigation & Labor at Globe Telecom, Inc. and as senior labor counsel at Philippine Airlines, Inc.
He is currently a labor law professor at the San Beda College – Alabang and De La Salle Lipa and a consultant and labor counsel at Globe Telecom.
