Course Director and Director: Atty. Alberto C. Agra - He served the government as Secretary of Justice in 2010. He also held various positions in government as Solicitor General and Government Corporate Counsel. He provides briefings on this topic to help businesses on the challenges they face with this new law. He is a strong advocate of PPP, professor of laws (1993 to present) at the Ateneo Law School and a political law bar reviewer in the same institution. He is the author of the 2-volume Course Book on Local Government PPPs and the principal author of Knowing PPP, BOTs and JVs. He also heads Forensic Law and Policy Strategies, Inc. and Forensic Solutions, a think tank with expertise in the fields of policy, law reform, advocacy and governance.

Atty. Alberto C. Agra
is known as the only one of the two in the world who is both a Certified PPP Specialist and Cerfified Regulation SpecialistTM. He served the government as Secretary of Justice until June 2010. He also held various positions in government as Solicitor General and Government Corporate Counsel. He is a PPP practitioner, advocate and professor of laws (1993 to present) at the Ateneo Law School where he teaches Administrative Law, Local Government Law, Election Law and Law on Public Officers. He has a regular column on PPPs every Monday with the BusinessMirror Newspaper.

He is the author of the 2-volume Course Book on Local Government PPPs and the principal author of Knowing PPP, BOTs and JVs. He currently heads Forensic Law and Policy Strategies, Inc. and Forensic Solutions, a think tank offering services in the fields of policy, law reform, advocacy and governance.

A resource person from the PPP Center will also be invited to share valuable insights on how to succeed in capturing PPP opportunities.
